It’s been a while since I posted. And some of you may have been wondering just where it is I have gone recently. Well, no need to worry as things will be continuing on here as normal from now on. Having said though, there are a number of changes that you may or may not notice over the coming months.
I won’t say too much at this point, as today’s post is a short one. But suffice to say that the political battle which many of us have been engaged in for the past few years continues apace, with economic strife, global wars and the increasingly worsening energy situation dragging us all towards a situation which those of us who have been politically active for some time now have warned about for a number of years.
The attack on our civil liberties, the abuse of an entire people by a tiny elite has turned a once great country into nothing more than a conduit for corruption. Well, it really is time that this changed. And with increasing civil unrest, both at home and abroad, it is perhaps time that we started to consider which side we are on.
UK Government, the British state, call it what you will, has ceased to represent those who it claims legitimacy from. For far too long now the tendency has been for them to make the right noises once every five years, only to fail those very people who they owe their positions too.
Nobody, certainly not me, wants to accept that the path which we find ourselves walking is one which leads to civil war. Nobody wants to see the breakdown of Western economies. And nobody wants to see our very way of life come to an end. Unfortunately, I can’t help but feel that it has hit a point whereby we need to witness a catastrophic collapse of the prevailing orthodoxy.
Governments need to collapse, people need to rise up, and it is high time that we accepted that the very global economic system which we in The West have become so dependent on, needs to be torn apart piece by piece. Only the other week I found myself considering the future as I looked at my young nephew and niece. And in all honesty, I just couldn’t accept that it would all work out. I could not bring myself to accept that the planet which my generation is to inherit, should be passed on to the next generation, in its current condition. To do so would, after all, be the ultimate failure. To accept the economic and social enslavement of future generations would be a great betrayal in itself.
Personally I have lost count of the number of times I have been told to stop worrying. Life is after all, too short, I am told. But as true as this may be, if we allow ourselves to take an eye off the future to the point whereby we fail to secure a future for our children. Then we are all as guilty as those who abuse power in the name of so called economic prosperity.
Personally, I know which side I am on. The only question is, whose side are you on?
